As an employer in Ontario, you are required by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and specifically the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act (WSIA) to have qualified employees trained in First Aid as a legislative requirement. HRCMS provides First Aid Training through associated trainers qualified and recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board who have met the Board’s equivalency criteria as established and maintained by the WSIB. HRCMS’s trainers guarantee to provide enlightening, invigorating and refreshing instruction professionally presented level that sets the benchmark for other trainers to follow.

6-15 employees Standard First Aid & CPR Section 9 F/A Kits meeting Section 9 of the WSIA Regulation 1101
16-199 employees Standard First Aid & CPR Section 10 Section 10 of the WSIA Regulation 1101 - First Aid Kit, First Aid Station with 2 blankets and 1 stretcher
200 + employees Standard First Aid & CPR Section 10 Section 11 of the WSIA Regulation 1101 - First Aid Room equipped as detailed, Registered Nurse or worker who’s only function is to provide First Aid**

  • Expense of the First Aid Program
  • Inspections and documentation must be kept on record as described
  • Accessibility to all Emergency and First Aid Equipment or supplies
  • Employers must prominently display all required first aid certificates
